In addition to seascapes I also accept commissions for other subject matters such as portraits or pets. Sizes and costs can vary according to your individual needs depending on the size of the artwork, the number of subjects, and the medium used. I will be happy to work with you to find something within your budget.
Here are some useful tips for commissioning an artwork that may help you:
- The quality of the artwork will depend on the quality of the photo you provide. The best photos are in sharp focus and allow me to zoom in closely to capture the details.
- The price of an artwork depends on the size and number of subjects (people, pets, objects etc.) in it. You pay for each extra person or pet included in the artwork.
- Large highly detailed backgrounds take longer to render and therefore cost more.
- Stretched canvas artwork does not require framing.
- Pencil portraits are less expensive (because the materials are less expensive.)
- If you would like the artwork posted to you and additional cost for postage and handling applies. Australia post has size restrictions for items larger than 24" x 24" so a higher charge for a courier service will apply.
- Portraits can take up to 3 months to complete depending on size and the number of subjects. Smaller portraits usually take 4-6 weeks to complete.
